Ekonomické prognózy
MF SR hovorili, že ekonomika by mala v roku 2009 rásť tempom 4,6%. Takýto rast by tak patril medzi nadpriemerné rasty z pohľadu histórie Slovenska a bol by približne dvakrát vyšší, ako dosahovali najvyspelejšie krajiny sveta pred finančnou krízou, ktorá sa objavuje už vyše roka.V septembri 2008 sa však situácia radikálne zhoršuje.
Finančná kríza
Finančná kríza sa zásadným spôsobom negatívne prejavi na reálnej ekonomike. Hlavným prejavom krízy bude postupné spomalenie ekonomického rastu jednotlivých krajín ako aj v zvýšení nezamestnanosti. Kríza sa v súčasnosti na Slovensku dotýka predovšetkým automobilového priemyslu, stavebníctva a časti strojárskej výroby. V týchto segmentoch by mohla v tomto roku spôsobiť pokles výroby až do 30 %. Priestor pre zmiernenie dopadov sa vidí predovšetkým v podpore malého a stredného podnikania a podpore exportu. Kríza môže mať dlhodobý charakter v horizonte zhruba piatich rokov.
Ministerstvo hospodárstva SR
(MH) vypracovalo balíček 26 konkrétnych opatrení na prekonanie dopadov globálnej finančnej krízy. Pripravené opatrenia sú zamerané na jednotlivé oblasti hospodárskej politiky, pričom im je priradený hlavný gestor (ministerstvo), spolupracujúce rezorty ako aj termín splnenia či forma vyhodnocovania. Jednou z kl’účových oblastí na zmiernenie dopadov finančnej krízy na slovenskú ekonomiku má byť čerpanie fondov EÚ na rozpočtovanej úrovni. Ekonomika pozná aj svoje teórie podľa zakladateľov.
Prísnejšie pravidlá a vyššie sankcie za nedodržanie GDPR
Dramatické sankcie za nedodržanie GDPR nariadenia EÚ už postihujú malé spoločnosti na Slovensku. Úrady vykonali v roku 2019 viaceré kontroly na správu osobných údajov v malých spoločnostiach. Vo viac ako polovici ustanovili aj následné sankcie. Pre malé a stredné spoločnosti je vhodné vypracovať dokumentáciu GDPR formou outsourcingu. Takúto službu poskytuje napríklad spoločnosť Safedata.sk. Nariadenie GDPR sa začalo uplatňovať rovnako v celej Európskej únii od 25. mája 2018.
Podľa aktualizovaných prognóz kľúčových medzinárodných ekonomických inštitúcií (MMF, OECD, Európska komisia), Slovensko bude v roku 2009 najrýchlejšie rastúcou ekonomikou v Európskej únii. V roku 2010 sa očakáva zrýchlenie slovenského hospodárskeho rastu na 5,5 %. Naďalej sa predpokladá, medziročný rast ekonomiky o 7 %. Inflácia by mala podl’a EK v tomto roku dosiahnuť 4 % a následne v ďalších rokoch klesať na 3,5 %, resp. 3,3 %. Úroveň deficitu bežného účtu platobnej bilancie by sa mala postupne znižovať z tohtoročných očakávaných 5,6 % hrubého domáceho produktu na budúcoročných 4,7 % a na 3,5 % v roku 2010. Schodok obchodnej bilancie by sa mal pritom rovnako znižovať.
Hlavnou prioritou ekonomického rozvoja v rokoch 2009 – 2013 bude rast výkonnosti a mobilizácia všetkých činiteľov, ktoré ho ovplyvňujú. Pôjde najmä o intenzívny rozvoj výrob s vyšším obsahom výsledkov výskumu a vysokokvalifikovanej práce vo všetkých sektoroch ekonomiky, zvlášť v spracovateľskom priemysle.
